Experienced European luthiers craft each Klaus Mueller Bucharest cello by hand. These instruments are light in weight, yet big in sound from meticulous carving. The Bucharest cello features a bold resonant sound with excellent projection, allowing intermediate players to more easily build upon their technique and musical expression.
Klaus Mueller Bucharest cellos are constructed from Laminated spruce and maple. Two piece back. Scroll of solid maple. Finished in a golden brown. Each cello is shop adjusted by our professional in-house luthiers, to assure excellent playability. Outfit includes rosin, and your choice of case and bow. Standard outfit arrives in an Oxford nylon soft case. If you have ordered a Thermoplastic case, it will arrive in a separate package. Made in Romania.

I’ve had the Klaus Mueller Bucharest Cello for about three months now, and I am very satisfied with the quality of this instrument. As a 19-year-old beginner (though I’ve been playing the violin for six years), I wanted an instrument that produced a nice, resonant tone but also affordable and well-crafted, and this cello seemed like the perfect choice for me. I was very worried that I would regret ordering a cello online, but the packaging was quite secure and the cello arrived on time and in one piece, and it sounds beautiful! Also purchased a bow, rosin, and rubber mute from SW and am very pleased with these products as well. Overall, highly recommend if you’re just starting out or looking to upgrade from a cheaper beginner cello.
