Our Klaus Mueller violin bows are made from real horsehair, octagonal Pernambuco stick, fully-mounted nickel-silver on ebony frog with Parisian eye, three-part adjuster, nickel winding, and leather grip.

Within a year I found that the bow started making weird hair ssss sounds while playing. Will be buying different bow, also the hair is not in flat line when looking from the frog to the tip. Sadly it a waste of money, don’t trust SW products anymore.

The hair came out of the tip of the bow within 1 week. I am currently waiting for the replacent to be delivered.

The bow is very nice, and everything that I expected, will note it was a bit heavier than I expected, that being said I had a carbon fibre bow. The balance point is also differant, and took some getting used to, but overall a good product.

The bow itself is fine, but the craftsmanship on the bow hair was a little off – the hair amount was skimpy and did not cover the entire span of the frog, the cork that holds the hair in place was not pushed down all the way, and as soon as I went to rosin the bow hair, four hairs immediately snapped off. At that rate, I’ll have to rehair a brand new bow within months!
